Right off the bat,let me just say,if you dont get out much, you should. alot of what is posted are things i happen to be into,but i hope to expose others to new things as well. with that said,i gotta shout out my dude LEONARD of STEADY BALTIMORE.he's a gifted young art exhibitor,collector&promoter. he said i had to slide thru ART WHINO in va for their exhibit this month,so i did.beyond dope! every photo,every painting and every display was awesome. with art,textures and themes definitely make the works stand out. sometimes you gotta damn near put your face on the painting to really see it,ask LEONARD;"wooow,look at that yo!"lol. got to met one of the artist hopefully coming to CULTURE in phila. this cat was an artist in every sense of the word,lol. most of us in the arts are such fast talkers, here and there,but we create wonderful works. my dude JAZI ROCK,is definitely dope. he will be displaying an airbrush theme in downtown crystal city va very soon.JOKA another artist from phila is what we call a "twisted genius". alot of his work catches the eye,but you have to step aside and let your mind figure out the piece. the gallery itself is very spacious and layed out very well. theres plenty to see and conversate about,trust me,lol. shouts to beautiful ALEX too,"the offical badass photographer" for the event. exhibit ends early march so go on over.the homie LEONARD is throwing a set in bmore early april,ill post details soon. dont forget, MONSTERS OH HIP HOP starts today and goes till sun. check for info on this page. later homes.

Back in the place to be with all the usual suspects. hit up JIN LOUNGE,lol, on U street for video premier of TABI BONNEY'S new video for "Beat Rock".dope! homie is on his own style,on swag,on sh*t and i like it,so sue me. folks forgot that aside from WALE,this dude has been pushing for the city as well. To me,he brings back the vibe of the early 90's cats that was stylish and spit game over the mic. his music is just fun and definitly gets the fly ladies in the Louboutins movin. Got a chance to chop it up with Sir. UNDERDOG from MAJOR as well as the proclaimed mayor of the city BIG G.lol,my man was soo nice off the whatever.
